24-Hour Movement Guidelines: Descriptive Study with Overweight and Obese Low-Income Children

Objective: This study aimed to examine the prevalence of meeting 24-Hour Movement Guidelines among overweight and obese (OW/OB) children from low-income conditions compare this by gender, age, body mass index (BMI) classification. Methods: Accelerometer-based physical activity (PA), self-report sleep duration (SD), screen time (ST) were analyzed in 72 OW/OB eight 12 years old (21 girls) conditions. Results: None participants met recommendations for all three behaviors, only 9.3% two behaviors simultaneously. Recommendations PA, SD, ST 18.5%, 51.5%, 4.9% children, respectively. The recommendation SD was higher (p=.027) younger (≤10 , 65.7%) than older ones (>10 old, 37.5%). Conclusion: Guidelines. These results appoint urgent attention health education professionals order include opportunities PA practice knowledge about sedentary future interventions.
